Group Chair
Jonathon worked in the NHS for 35 years. During that time he held a variety of general management and leadership posts. He also worked for 14 years at Board level as Director of Operations/Deputy Chief Executive in large complex NHS Trusts serving Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan. Jonathon is a Companion of the Institute of Health Management and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development

John Evans
Vice Chair of Seren and Chair of Charter Housing
John retired from his post as deputy chief executive at Torfaen County Borough Council in 1999. His previous posts have been with Pontypool Urban District Council, Devizes Rural Council and Bedwellty Urban District Council. John has also been Chair of Torfaen Voluntary Alliance, Chair of Torfaen Health and Wellbeing Partnership and a member of a Community First Partnership.

Sue Gregory
Independent Board Member
Sue was formerly Executive Director of Nursing for the former Cardiff and Vale NHS Trust. She has a professional background in children’s nursing, health visiting and community nursing as well as 35 years experience in the NHS in a variety of clinical, professional and managerial posts. Sue was the first President and founding member of the Welsh Nursing Academy and has experience as a Non Executive Director and Vice Chair for the former Welsh National Board for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting.

Stewart Murton
Independent Board Member and Chair of Group Corporate Governance Committee
Stewart is a retired Regional Director, Valuation Office Agency. He trained and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and joined the Valuation Office in Newport in 1970. Stewart previously worked in private practice, local authority and the Old Cwmbran Development Corporation. He moved from Head Office to Cardiff in 1987 to take over as Director Wales. Years later the West of England was added to his responsibilities.

Brian Adcock
Chair of Solas Cymru
Brian is a native of Liverpool, with a professional background in planning and economic regeneration. Brian retired in 2006 after 40 years service in local government. He has worked on major development projects in Lancashire, Southampton, Wirral and Merseyside Development Corporation, including the regeneration of Liverpool docklands and waterfront. Brian joined Newport City Council as director of development in 1986. He became Corporate Director in 2001 with responsibility for social wellbeing and housing. Brian was President of Newport & Gwent Chamber of Commerce (1993-95) and volunteer’s as a tour guide at Newport Wetlands RSPB reserve.

Jeff Champney-Smith
Chair of Pen Yr Enfys
Jeff Champney-Smith, worked for many years in both drug and alcohol services in the health sector. A trained nurse, Jeff held both senior clinical and managerial posts. Since retiring he has a become a free-lance trainer specialising in duel diagnosis, prescription drugs and other alcohol and substance related matters. He is country lead for the Nursing Council on Alcohol. Jeff sits on the Board of Brynawel and AWETU, and has recently been appointed as a Mental Health Act Manager for Cardiff & Vale LHB.

Malgwyn Davies
Independent Board Member
Malgwyn is a Solicitor and retired following 36 years in local Government in 2006. Malgwyn was formerly employed as Deputy Chief Executive of Gwent County Council, and latterly as Chief Executive of Caerphilly County Borough Council. He was also Clerk to the Gwent Police Authority for 12 years. He is currently Clerk to the Lieutenancy for the County of Gwent and Chairman of St. David’s Foundation Hospice Care.

Dr Lynn Moseley
Independent Board Member
Dr Lynn Moseley, independent board member is a retired architect/director of development. She was an architect in private practice in Cardiff for 20 years, director of development with Circle 33 Housing Trust, London for 11 years and a member of the Lord Chancellor’s Panel of Independent Inspectors for 5 years.

Haydn Jones
Chair of Reach
Haydn is employed in the NHS as Assistant Director of Finance and Performance with Swindon Primary Care Trust. He has extensive experience of working in the public sector – currently in the NHS but previously in local government (specialising in council housing finance and social care finance) and the police service. Haydn is a qualified accountant and a full member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA).

Mark Williams
Chair of Fairlake/FairlakeLiving
Mark is an experienced Business Manager and Senior Programme Manager. He has extensive Business Change and IT Solutions Change knowledge particularly within the Financial Services and Public Sector marketplaces. Currently Deputy Head of Change for L&G in Cardiff, he has held a number of Exec and Non Exec positions at both small and large organisations throughout a 25+ year career. Mark holds a BA (Hons) degree in Accountancy & Finance.
