Amanda Davies
I joined the seren group in July 2004, having spent the previous 12 years working in the housing and support sector. I've gained experience of housing stock transfers, PFI, transfer of registered care homes and group structures. I've also worked at senior management level in financial services, transport and manufacturing.
Simon Jones
I joined the Group in April 2002 and took up my present role in July 2004. I am a qualified Chartered Accountant and trained with Coopers & Lybrand, Cardiff. Previously I held posts with Merthyr Tydfil Housing Association and Parsons Brinckerhoff, engineering consultants.
Kathryn Edwards
I joined charter in 2001 as assistant director of housing. I was appointed corporate director in November 2004. I've worked in housing for over 20 years having previously worked with Cardiff City Council where I was a member of the Housing Adult Social Services Senior Management Team.
Darrell Bolton
I am a chartered surveyor and studied for my MBA at Cardiff Business School.I am also a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.I am the longest serving member of the group, with over 30 years service under my belt! I've played a leading role in PFI projects and major regeneration schemes. I oversee the group's strategic asset management work. I also represent the group on GENuS, a consortium of housing associations operating in South East Wales.
Judith North
Before joining reach I worked as Director of Consultancy with Paradigm. Most of my work focussed on organisational, leadership and team development, person centred planning, autism and supported living. Previously I was employed as Chief Executive of the Kingswood Trust. I have a Masters degree from the Tizard Centre, University of Kent, Canterbury.
Steve James
I was appointed director of pen yr enfys in 2002. Previously I worked with the Housing & Social Services Directorate with Neath-Port Talbot Council. I've worked with homeless and vulnerable people since the early 1980's and managed Tresillian House, a direct access hostel from 1990 to 1998. My special interest in street drinking gangs led to the development of the Shoreline Project. I was elected Labour Councillor, representing Cadoxton, Barry a seat I held until 1994. I am involved in voluntary and community work, as a secondary school governor and on various charity boards.
Rhian Stone
I am a qualified social worker with a BA in Humanities and Social Sciences; and an MA in Social Policy and Social Work. I've worked in local authorities, the voluntary sector and government for the last 20 years, specialising in safeguarding children and looked after children, substance misuse and youth services. Born in Wales, I lived in England for 20 years, recently returning to Cardiff.
