Empty homes are renovated

An initiative that aims to help tackle the shortage of affordable social housing in Newport by bringing empty homes back into use is celebrating the dramatic renovation of its first project.

As part of its Empty Homes strategy, Newport city council is working in partnership with Seren Group and it has completed its first project in Fairfax Road.
