Partnership Delivers

Cartref: May/June 2006

The partnership between the Councils of Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport, Powys and Torfaen, and the GENuS Consortium (Gwerin Housing, Eastern Valley Housing, Newport Housing Trust and Seren Group) was cemented at the end of March, when all parties signed a Collaboration Statement. The partnership is currently spending £1 million a month on new affordable home building programmes, and the collaboration agreement will ensure close working and co-operation to maximise the investment of Social Housing Grant across the region.
