 Fairlake Properties and Gwent Homes
Fairlake is a charitable Industrial and Provident Society, created as part of the formation of the Seren Group. Its subsidiary, Gwent Homes, was formerly a subsidiary of Charter Housing Association, and is a non charitable Industrial and Provident Society. Both companies are registered with the Welsh Assembly Government.
Together with Gwent Homes, Fairlake is responsible, among other things, for development and asset management agency/consulting, property management and sales and regeneration schemes. It is also responsible for the Group's keyworker accommodation PFI schemes.
The combination of the charitable Fairlake and non charitable Gwent Homes allows the Group maximum flexibility in its operating activities. Despite being non charitable, Gwent Homes is not for profit and its surpluses are reinvested in the work of the Seren Group.
